Barbara Wildenboer

Barbara Wildenboer is a South African artist who works in collage, paper construction, installation, digitally animated collage and book arts. She is known for altered books that act as narrative clues in her work. Her ongoing Library of the Infinitesimally Small and Unimaginable Large series, begun in 2011, draws on Borges' The Library of Babel. She was the South African resident artist of the Unesco-Aschberg programme with Darat al Funun in Amman in 2006.
