Bardin-Niskala Duo

The Bardin-Niskala Duo is a cello-and-piano nonprofit formed in 2021 that uses music to explore identity, belonging, and community. It commissions composers from ALAANA and other underrepresented groups to write works based on folk and children's songs from their cultures. The Duo has been a repeated artist in residence at Avaloch Farm Music Institute, including in 2024.
