Ben Burgess

Ben Burgess is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist whose documentary work combines photography and writing. He approaches his subjects anthropologically and includes the act of photographing itself in the work. He earned a BFA in Photography from RMIT University in 2016 and has shown work in Australia, Canada, and Brazil. He did a residency at Despina in Rio de Janeiro in 2017 and at Popps Packing in Detroit in 2019, where he performed spoken word.
