Betül Aksu

Betül Aksu is a Turkish artist born in 1990 in İzmir, who lives and works in London and İzmir. Her practice spans installation, performance, text, video, and printmaking, and looks at how bureaucratic language and systems shape movement, identity, and belonging. She founded sezon, an artist-run space in İzmir, and co-initiated the Vranofça Archive, a community archive on migration from Gorno Vranovci to Turkey in the 1950s. In 2026 she was a resident at Art Explora's Vila 31 programme in Tirana.
