Bláithín Mac Donnell

Bláithín Mac Donnell is an Irish artist whose performative, narrative-based work explores the links between rural and digital infrastructures, and how stories are shared and retold. She draws on the seanchaí (Irish storytelling) tradition to create spoken narrative with gesture. Her residency at Interface in Connemara used materials gathered on walks through the local landscape. She is a PhD researcher at NCAD, Dublin, and holds degrees from Goldsmiths and the Royal College of Art, London.
