Bronwyn Butterfield

Bronwyn Butterfield is a beadwork artist whose practice also moves into painting, drawing, film, sound, and printmaking. Her work draws on Cree-Métis and settler-European family histories and on the prairie landscape. She was an artist in residence at the Sointula Art Shed in January 2024, where she also held a solo show. Her cover art ran in Briarpatch Magazine in 2022, and her work was featured in The Walrus in 2021.
