Bruce Overby

Bruce Overby is a fiction writer whose work explores loss, belonging, family, addiction, and life in a technology-driven world. His stories have appeared in several literary journals and in a Press53 anthology. His story 'Bookmarks' won first prize in the Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition. His debut novel, The Cyclone Release, a Silicon Valley novel set during the late-1990s Internet boom, is published by Madville Publishing. He holds an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte and lives in Northern California.
