Cari Maes

Cari Maes is an academic affiliated with Oregon State University. She was a PRAx Humanities Research Fellow in 2018-2019, working on the politics of maternal and infant health and nation-building in Vargas-era Brazil. The pages also describe her as associate director of OSU's Family Resource Center and as a thesis chair in the university's Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program.
