Caroline Garcia

Caroline Garcia is an interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn who works across performance, video, and installation. Her practice blends cross-cultural movement, embodied research, and new media, often with a humorous, playful approach to popular and colonial imagery. She was a Technology Residency artist at Pioneer Works in spring 2021, and later led a green screen workshop there in 2022. Her recent projects include the 2025 Wave Hill exhibition 'Versus Earth', which uses reclaimed plastic to rework Indigenous weapons. She was named a 2021 New York Artadia Awardee and has held residencies at MASS MoCA, ISCP, and the Institute for Electronic Arts.
