Carrie Cushman

Carrie Cushman is the director of the Bates College Museum of Art, a post she took up in August 2025. She previously directed the Edith Dale Monson Gallery at the University of Hartford's Hartford Art School. Earlier she was the Linda Wyatt Gruber '66 Curatorial Fellow in Photography at the Davis Museum at Wellesley College. The pages name Surf Point only as a funder of the Davis Museum's 'Making, Not Taking' online exhibition she curated, not as a residency.
