Caterina De Nicola

Caterina De Nicola is a multidisciplinary artist based in Zurich who works across installation, performance, sound and object-based practice. Her work examines how images, symbols and materials are reused and emptied of meaning. She was a resident at Cripta747 in Turin in 2020, and her name is linked to La Becque in 2021 in Missa's records. Her sound practice uses found objects, feedback and modular electronics in a deliberately low-fidelity, 'no-fi' approach. Her work has been shown at institutions including Istituto Svizzero in Milan, MAXXI in Rome and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
