Cecilia Charlton

Cecilia Charlton is a London-based American artist who makes hand-made embroideries and weavings. Her work draws on the formal history of abstraction and covers themes such as the cosmos and memory. She trained at Hunter College (BFA, 2015) and the Royal College of Art in London (MA, 2018). In August 2024 she was a resident at Verpėjos Creative Pastures in Lithuania.
