Chaeyeon Hong

Chaeyeon Hong is an artist whose work centres on thresholds and sites of passage, such as the boundary between inside and outside or city and nature. She began as a painter and sees painting as a kind of passageway. In January 2026 she was an artist in residence at MERZ Gallery in Sanquhar, Scotland, where she showed the exhibition Liminal Place with Lee Soom.
