Chris Santiago

Chris Santiago is a poet who has published work in Conduit, POETRY, and other literary magazines. Their 2016 collection Tula won the Lindquist & Vennum Prize for Poetry. Santiago's forthcoming collection, Small Wars Manual, is slated from Milkweed Editions in April 2025 and mixes erasures with original poems about American militarism and imperialism. They teach creative writing, sound studies, and Asian American literature at CalArts and hold fellowships from the McKnight Foundation, the Mellon Foundation/ACLS, and Kundiman.
