Claire Gonçalves

Claire Gonçalves is a French artist born in 1986 who lives and works in Clermont-Ferrand. Her practice takes apart tools, know-how and marketing codes, then reassembles them to highlight the fragility of handmade work. In 2022 she was a resident in Reykjavík through the Reykjavík Cross Residency, partnered with SÍM Residency, where she took part in open studios and ran a plaster-painting workshop.
