Clara Hastrup

Clara Hastrup is a Danish-born artist, from Århus, who lives and works in London. She combines analogue and digital technologies, turning everyday and domestic objects into kinetic or responsive works. In 2024 she took part in the Cycles group exhibition at Van Gogh House in London, where her works, including Wind TV and Untitled, were driven by wind and weather data from a roof-mounted antenna. Lampoon magazine describes her fish-driven sculptures and her 2021 Royal Academy Schools degree show, which received the Patrizia Turner Prize for Sculpture.
