Claudia Monpere

Claudia Monpere is a writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area who publishes flash fiction, short stories, and poems. Her work has appeared in Split Lip Magazine, where her flash "Girl Locks" ran in May 2024. The story was later selected for Best Small Fictions 2025. Her other credits include journals such as The Kenyon Review, The Cincinnati Review, River Teeth, and Prairie Schooner. She received the 2023 SmokeLong Workshop Prize.
