Claudia Zanaga

Claudia Zanaga is an Italian sculptor based in Padua who works mainly in marble, terracotta and other traditional techniques such as carving and modelling. Her work explores migration, identity, tradition and belonging through dreamy, often anthropomorphic forms. She has taken part in many stone and snow sculpture symposia and has won several sculpture prizes in Italy and abroad. She was an artist in residence at Last Ship in India in 2024 and at Atelier Austmarka in Norway in 2015.
