Clémentine Vaultier

Clémentine Vaultier is a French artist based in Brussels who trained as a ceramist. Her work focuses less on the objects made in fire and more on the surroundings of fire itself. She researches how warmth is raised, used and spread, combining ceramics, performance and pedagogy, and building narratives through archival and technical materials. She was a resident at SODAS 2123 in Vilnius, where she presented work tied to the Oven Pavilion.
