Cole Forrest

Cole Forrest is an Anishinaabe filmmaker, writer, and curator from Nipissing First Nation. Their work focuses on film process and development, with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. In August 2024 they were an artist in residence at Moab Arts, where they ran free workshops on eco-friendly alternative film processes. They co-authored the poetry collection Once The Smudge Is Lit (2024).
