Cornelia Spelman

Cornelia Maude Spelman is an American writer known for children's books and a memoir. She is also described as a former therapist. Her memoir Missing, published by Jackleg Press in 2022, reconstructs her mother's life and death and the fate of her long-lost older brother, drawing on letters, medical records, and family papers. A later essay excerpt from her memoir SOLACE appeared in Oldster Magazine in 2025.
