Cris Franchevich
Cris Franchevich is a Brazilian-American artist who was an artist in residence at DRAWinternational in Caylus, France, in 2016. Their practice mixes watercolour and encaustic with graphite, charcoal, chalk and thread. Their work centres on the human figure and on ideas of identity, memory and displacement, shaped by years of living in South America and, later, Minnesota.
