Dana Hemes

Dana Hemes is a New York-based artist who builds system-based visual experiments with human and nonhuman participants to explore interspecies dialogue. Her work draws on process philosophy, technoculture and non-anthropocentric science. She holds an MFA from Montclair State University and a BFA from NYU, and has taken part in residencies in New Zealand, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont.
