Danusha Lameris

Danusha Laméris is an American poet and essayist raised in Northern California, with Dutch and Barbadian parentage. Her debut collection, The Moons of August, won the Autumn House Press Poetry Prize. She served as Poet Laureate of Santa Cruz County from 2018 to 2020 and teaches in Pacific University's low-residency MFA program.
