Dara Bramson

Dara Bramson is a cultural anthropologist whose work centers on diverse perspectives of healing and the body. She was a 2024 Scholarly Retreat Resident at A Studio in the Woods, where she studied how environmental change shapes Tibetan medicine in exile in North India. She is now a postdoc at the Center for Braiding Indigenous Knowledges and Science at UMass Amherst.
