David Hallock Sanders

David Hallock Sanders is an American novelist and screenwriter whose debut novel, Busara Road, is a coming-of-age story set in 1960s Kenya. He spent part of his childhood on a Quaker educational mission there. His short fiction, essays, and plays have appeared in a range of journals and anthologies. Busara Road has won the Nautilus Book Award Gold Medal and several other honors.
