Dayton Hare

Dayton Hare is a composer whose work balances lyricism and color, often drawing on the natural world. His music has been performed by groups such as Bent Frequency, Ensemble Variances, and the Yale Percussion Group, including at Carnegie Hall and the Salle Cortot. He was a 2025 resident at Rabbit Island, where he recorded the island's soundscape for a new piece.
