DIANA CALDERÓN

Diana Calderón is a Phoenix-based interdisciplinary artist born in Chihuahua, Mexico, in 1981. Her work blends relief printmaking, bookmaking, sculptural installation and performance, often drawing on her family history and migrant experience. She earned a BFA from Arizona State University in 2008. CALA Alliance hosted her as a resident in 2018, when she lived and worked in Guadalajara's Museo Taller José Clemente Orozco. Her later CALA-linked work includes a 2023 exhibition installation and a grief-and-art workshop. Her own site also lists workshops and bilingual arts education services.
