Dr. Donja Thomas is an educator, activist, scholar, and writer of creative nonfiction and afro-futurist work. She received the 2022 NCTE High School Teacher of Excellence Award. Her work centers on Black Studies and critical studies curriculum. She was featured in Raising Mothers' Mama's Writing interview series in March 2024.
