Doreen Mende

Doreen Mende is a curator, writer and public scholar. She has led the Research Department at Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden since 2021. Earlier she was a professor of curatorial politics at HEAD Genève from 2015 to 2025. Her recent exhibitions include Candida Höfer: Contexts (Kupferstich-Kabinett, Dresden, 2024) and The Missed Seminar (Haus der Kulturen der Welt and Albertinum, 2022–23).
