EAU PERNICE

Eau Pernice is an artist who makes sculpture and performance work. Her sculptures combine hand-made, artisanal methods with found materials. During a residency at PADA in Barreiro, Portugal, in mid-2023, she made bamboo sculptures resembling music stands, using bamboo gathered from beaches by the river Tagus. Her practice also includes backwards-singing performances, and she is concerned with themes such as rhythm, voice and storytelling.
