EETU SIHVONEN

Eetu Sihvonen is a Helsinki-based sculptor born in 1994. Their practice combines hand-carved wood with 3D-printed and digitally fabricated forms. Works are often part of an ongoing world-building project built around invented lore and characters. Sihvonen was an artist-in-residence at PADA in Portugal in 2023, where the Dearworths series was developed. The series uses reclaimed wood, dyed resin reliefs and 3D-printed elements. Sihvonen has exhibited at Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm, Gaa Gallery in New York and Marc Bibiloni in Madrid.
