ELĪNA VĪTOLA

Elīna Vītola is a visual artist based in Riga, Latvia, trained in painting at the Art Academy of Latvia. Her abstract work balances rational and irrational elements, often using earth pigments and layered textures. She explores artistic identity and the wider art world while developing collaborative practices. She was named a KORDON artist-in-residence for 2026, where she is working with Estonian artist Eva Mustonen on the project 'Pastoral: August', which is due to open in Haapsalu. The project follows their earlier work 'Let's Find A Way: Off-Season', shown at Kanal Gallery in 2022.
