Emerson Voss

Emerson Voss is a American composer and artistic researcher (b. 1991) who makes site-specific, multimedia installations and staged music theater works about everyday life. His scholarly work examines publicly funded Norwegian theater. He was listed as a 2026 resident of Bunker Projects in Pittsburgh. Voss holds a PhD in Music Composition and Theory from the University of Pittsburgh and teaches music courses there and at Duquesne University. His installation cycle Every Room Speaks has premiered in Oslo, Novi Sad, and Riga.
