Emily Ritchie

Emily Ritchie is a Glasgow-based artist who works across drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, video and audio. She also writes short stories that blend autofiction, fantasy and drama, and feeds those texts into her visual work. Her work deals with human identity, communication and interior worlds. She completed a BA in Drawing and Painting at Edinburgh College of Art and an MLitt in Fine Art Practice at Glasgow School of Art. She took part in a residency at KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre in Ii, Finland, in 2015, where she showed the exhibition er-kk-ii.
