Emirhan Akin

Emirhan Akin (also written Emirhan Akın, with the handle EMIRHAKIN) is an artist born in 1992 in Turkey, working in performance, text, video, and installation. Their long-durational pieces challenge bodily experience and conventional ideas of time, drawing on queer temporalities. Akin has shown work at venues including the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and Q21 in Vienna. AIR InSILo lists them as a resident in 2023 and 2025.
