Eric Anthony Berdis

Eric Anthony Berdis is a visual artist and performer whose work explores the ghosts of queer history, archival research, and abandoned practices. Their practice spans performance, textile sculpture, and embellished drawing. They have a B.F.A. from Slippery Rock University and an M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they now work as LGBTQIA+ service coordinator. Berdis was a Visiting Artist at Bunker Projects in Pittsburgh in 2017 and has shown there as an alumnus. A 2023 Bunker Review conversation with resident Fred covers their teaching, childhood, and queer history themes. Their work has also been shown at Random Access Gallery, The Second Floor in Karachi, and Little Berlin in Baltimore.
