ETHAN CAFLISCH

Ethan Caflisch is an artist born in 1993 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who lives and works in London. He works in paint and hand-made textiles, making geometric, minimalist and figurative paintings. He studied at California College of the Arts and then the Turps Banana Painting Programme in London. He was an artist-in-residence at PADA Studios in Barreiro, Portugal, in 2020, and says that a triptych from his Tappan-listed series was made during that stay. He was also interviewed by Floorr magazine.
