Filipe Figueira

Filipe Figueira is a landscape painter based on Cortes Island, British Columbia, who was born in Portugal and moved to Canada in 1997. His abstract work builds imagined landscapes on canvas, shaped by memory, perception, and the forces that shape land. He completed a month-long residency at Atlas in Carvalhal, Portugal, in March 2026.
