Francesca Leader

Francesca Leader is a writer, poet, and artist originally from Western Montana who describes herself as self-taught. Her fiction, nonfiction, and poetry have appeared in a range of literary magazines. Her Southeast Review story "Cowboy" (Vol. 42.2) won or was featured in the magazine's short-short contest and was later discussed in its "About the Work" series. Her debut poetry chapbook, Like Wine or Like Pain, came out from Bottlecap Press in 2024.
