Gabriela Ruiz

Gabriela Ruiz is a multimedia artist working across performance, sculpture, video, and digital media, based in Los Angeles. As part of the duo Gabriela Ruiz & Emmett Palaima, she was a Visual Arts resident at Pioneer Works in winter-spring 2026. Her work explores surveillance capitalism, mass consumerism, and inner psychological experience through synthetic materials and saturated color. She performed in the 2026 Whitney Biennial.
