Geeta Dave

Geeta Dave is an Indian-born visual artist who was named a 2027 Replenish Resident at A Studio in the Woods in Louisiana. She developed her foundation in art while working alongside her father, a well-known painter. Her paintings explore the bond between women and nature, often using human figures in surreal landscapes and birds as symbols of resilience. For the residency she planned a mixed-media series built from image transfers and collage on balsa wood.
