Gigi Bella

Gigi Bella is a poet, theater artist, and social justice advocate. She has performed on stages alongside poets such as Andrea Gibson and Olivia Gatwood. Her debut full-length collection, Big Feelings, was published by Game Over Books, a Boston-based press, with a spring 2020 release. The book was reviewed by Yellow Arrow Publishing and THE FLOOR MAG. Her work centers on love, heartbreak, brown girlhood, and the experience of being an artist. She is also associated with the chapbook weird things and the collection without the frills, which the Button Poetry page describes as a look at Hollywood and Hispanic communities in New Mexico.
