Grace Crabtree

Grace Crabtree is a UK-based artist whose practice centres on the figure, sometimes moving into abstraction through repetition, rearrangement, or the figure's relationship to light, line, and space. She makes many of her own materials, binding pigments with egg tempera and other oils. She was an artist in residence at DRAWinternational in 2019, where she planned a series of layered drawings inspired by sinopia, the underdrawings of frescoes.
