Grace Varner

Grace Varner is a sculptor from Birmingham, Alabama, whose work examines how Southern culture is tied up with tradition and inherited ideology. She earned a BFA in ceramics from the University of Montevallo. She completed a two-year residency at The Steel Yard in Providence, Rhode Island, and is currently an MFA candidate at the University of South Florida.
