Grace Yi-Li Tong

Grace Yi-Li Tong is a Chinese-American movement artist who makes physical collages, combining dance, clowning, puppetry, and make-believe games. She is based in New York City and, per her own site, Amsterdam. Her work has been shown at venues including Snug Harbor, Flushing Town Hall, and The Center for Ballet Arts. She earned a BFA in Dance from NYU in 2021. Her 2025 Snug Harbor residency through the PASS program led to a work-in-progress performance of MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY.
