GUSTAVO PRATA

Gustavo Prata is a visual artist born in 1987 in São Paulo, where he lives and works. His practice collects and catalogs everyday waste such as newspapers, product packaging and flyers to examine consumption, disposal and obsolescence. He is represented by Galeria Eduardo Fernandes. He holds degrees in Social Communication (ESPM) and a postgraduate in Graphic Design (Miami Ad School), and has held solo shows in São Paulo, Blumenau, Caxias do Sul and Brasília.
