Hale Ekinci
Hale Ekinci is a Chicago-based Turkish-American artist who works in embroidery, painting, sculpture, installation, and video. Her practice draws on her experience as an immigrant and combines Middle Eastern and Western textile and fine-art traditions. She has held a residency at Elsewhere Museum, which the Chicago Artists Coalition bio lists among her earlier residencies.
