Hannah Benassi

Hannah Benassi is an Edinburgh-based contemporary painter whose abstracted landscapes respond to places she has travelled. She layers acrylic, oil, clay washes, fabric and rice paper. She was listed as a 2021 resident of Duplex AIR. She holds a BA in Fine Art & Design from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art (2019) and an MA in Contemporary Curatorial Practice from Glasgow School of Art (2020). Her awards include the Farquhar Reid Trust Prize and a Saatchi Art Rising Star designation, both in 2019.
