Harriot West

Harriot West is a haibun and tanka prose writer based in Eugene, Oregon. She taught ESL at the University of Oregon before turning more fully to poetry. Her work has won several haibun honors, including three Modern Haiku awards for best haibun. She has published two award-winning collections: Into the Light (2014), a mix of haibun and haiku, and Shades of Absence (2018), a collection of haibun and tanka prose.
